The Young Adult Group at St. John the Baptist, Monaca is open to all individuals age 18 to 49. This group focuses on the needs and aspirations of young adult parishioners and how participation in this ministry can enrich one's life of faith in Christ. The Young Adult Group normally meets every other Monday at 6:30PM in the Pastoral Center for various group activities as well as religious discussion and prayer time. Check the bulletin for specific meeting dates/times. Don't forget to pick up your copy of the Pittsburgh Catholic newspaper, a weekly gift given for enjoyment and enrichment to all parishioners of the Parish Community of St. John the Baptist. This and a variety of other faith-related reading materials are located at each of the church entrances.

Pre-Cana is for engaged couples planning to receive the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony within the Catholic Church. Please see the bulletin or the News & Events page for further information on the next scheduled session.

Each month a Baptism Preparation Class is offered. Please see the bulletin or the News & Events page for announcements pertaining to the class schedule. Contact the Pastoral Center at 724.775.3940 ext. 3 to register. Completion of this class is required before a baptism can be scheduled.
